Hello Everyone!!
I am so excited to start a blog to keep everyone up to date on our family!!
As most of you know we were blessed with Cambree Alise Blackmon on January 19, 2009 and I thought this would be a good way to keep everyone up to date on her progress.
In case you don't know the whole story, I developed pre-eclempsia when I was 32 weeks pregnant and she was delivered by emergency c-section. She weighed in at 4 1/2 pounds and she was 17 1/2 inches long. We called her our NICU "rockstar" and she only spent 2 1/2 weeks there! It was AMAZING to watch her grow and thrive! Since then she has been growing like a weed and just eating, sleeping and growing. She is the most beautiful baby (so, maybe I am a little biased) and we are so proud of how well she has done!! We could not have gotten through the last 12 weeks without the love and support of our wonderful friends and family!! Here are a few pictures of her first twelve weeks of life!
Our first family photo, she is 3 days old here!

Here she is with her nasal canular.

First day without tubes, or IV's...One week old...Notice how big the bow is :]
Here she is in the "Step-Down" room, which means that she was doing well and was getting close to going home. She already had her Daddy wrapped around her little finger!!
